Penelope Glamor (in English Penelope Pitstop ) is a fictional character that has appeared in several cartoons.

Penelope Glamor appeared for the first time in the Cartoon series Locos cars (in English wacky races ), produced by the Hanna-Barbera Productions animation study. She in many ways is a character of traditional "damsella in trouble", as in the ancient serials the dangers of Paulina , being characteristic of her the screams of her of "Socorro, Socorro!" (with affected southern accent). In the crazy cars, Penelope led the "compact kitten" ("The Compact Pussycat"), the stereotype of a pink female car with makeup accessories.

Penelope also starred in the dangers of Penelope Glamor , a direct sequel to crazy cars , but set in the 1920s. There demonstrated a curious combination of ingenuity and helpless. She used to imagine ingenious ways to escape the danger, and she was very athletic: if it happened that a sport was mentioned, she revealed that she was the female champion of said sport in the institute. However, when the villain "sinister claw" ("The Hooded Claw") grabbed her and held her back on her head, she seemed in an unable to do anything but shout "Socorro!" and shake frantically and uselessly arms and legs like a turtle turns around.

APPEARANCES IN OTHER MEDIA

Recently Penelope has been alluded to and parodied in many other means of fiction. An example would be the episode of reboot in which she also alluded to Pierre Nodoyuna. More recently, Pylope Pitstop GT has appeared in Penlope Pitstop, better enlightened cartoons where a formidable more modern and sexy Penelope stands out, which is physically equal to any male competitor.
