Panther (Greek: παν, "everything" - θηρα, "fiera") is a generic term to designate various large felids:
- Panthera, a genus that brings together all the felids that are able to roar.
- Black panther. LeopardosPanthera pardus), jaguars (Panthera onca) and pumas (Puma concolor) black (with melanism);
- White panther. LeopardosPanthera pardus), jaguars (Panthera onca) and pumas (Puma concolor(with albinism, leukism or genetic mutation);
- Nebulae panther or longibanda (Nebulae Neofelisa southeast Asian feline;
- Florida Panthera population of American puma;
- Panther or snow leopard (Panthera uncia), inhabitant of the central regions of Asia.
