Otoko zaka
Otoko Zaka (男坂 ? span> lit. "The Man on the Hill") is a manga drawn by Masami Kurumada. It was published in the weekly magazine Shōkan Shōnen Jump between number 32 of 1984 and 12 of 1985, and in the same year, 1985, it was compiled into three volumes.
In 2014, it was announced for the 40th anniversary of Masami Kurumada's career that he would continue drawing the manga to finish the story. A new arc called Hoku no daichi hen (北の大地編) was published in digital format in Shueisha's Weekly Pre-News from June 9 to August 4 and will it was compiled into a fourth volume on October 3 of the same year. At the end of this arc, a new one called Hama no Julie (横浜のジュリー編) was announced, a prologue was published on September 29 of that year. the same year, and the series ran from December 8 to February 9, 2015. At the end of publication, it was announced that the manga would continue, but no date is given. This arc was collected into a fifth volume on April 3, 2015. They will continue: In a 6th volume in 2016 and 7th in 2017 and 8th in 2018 and 9th in 2020, in 10th in 2021.
Plot
Jingi Kikukawa is a boy who during his 13 years of life was never defeated by anyone. A year ago he was transferred to the Touun (Touunchuu) school. Each school is protected by a leader staffed with warriors who love the art of fighting. After making an appointment with Yasuoka, the leader of Tooun, Jingi is victorious, a fact that will make him the new leader of the school. However, the winning streak ends for Jingi when he meets the young Sho Takeshima, nicknamed "Don", whose goal is to travel to the United States to preserve the rights of Japan. It will be then when Jingi Kikukawa, defeated for the first time, is forced to ask for help from the Fighting Demon, Kenka Oni, known in the surroundings as "The Man of the Rock". From that moment on, the challenge between the Timan weretigers is inaugurated.
