O'Reilly Media, formerly O'Reilly & Associates, is an American publishing company founded and directed by Tim O'Reilly that is primarily focused on technology and computer science books. He uses different animals as distinctive on his covers, such as a camel, a mouse or a llama.

In addition to publishing books, O'Reilly also sponsors annual conferences and online services for the free software community.

O'Reilly has adopted the copyright 1790 Copyright Durations, which limits maximum rights of protection to 28 years; much less than the normal duration of most publishers.
