Orcuttia is a genus of flowering plant, belonging to the Poaceae family. It is native to California and Mexico.

Taxonomy

The genus was described by George Vasey and published in Bulletin of the Torrey Botanical Club 13: 219. 1886. The type species is: Orcuttia californica

Etymology

The generic name was given in honor of Charles Russell Orcutt, an eminent American botanist, malacologist, and naturalist.
