Manga

Onegai Teacher was adapted into a manga by manga artist Dengeki Daioh in January 2002, consisting of two volumes.

The story maintains the basic plot, but adds comedic humor that is well-suited to the manga format, making the most of still frames. However, there are quite a few minor details that have been omitted from the anime or changed entirely: the relationship between Hyosuke and Kaede goes off course, with Hyosuke ending up with Ichigo; Yamada never shows up; Minoru is much more open with lust for him, but he is a great help in Kei and Mizuho's relationship; Koishi's role has been reduced somewhat; Hatsuho is only shown in just two frames, as a broadcast call to the pair warning them of Maho's wrath and in the other world when Kei stops; and finally, the Okinawan honeymoon is never shown or mentioned.

Light Novel

The light novel version titled Onegai Teacher: Mizuho and Kei's Milky Diary was written by Gō Zappa and illustrated by Taraku Uon and Hiroaki Gōda. It was published in Japan by MediaWorks in March 2003 and had only one volume length. The English edition was published by Comics One in October 2003.
