On the Edge of Suspicion (original title: Jagged Edge) is a 1985 American film directed by Richard Marquand and starring Glenn Close, Jeff Bridges, and Peter Coyote. It was a box office success.
Plot
Jack Forrester (Jeff Bridges) has just lost his wife, a wealthy heiress, to a brutal murder. Unexpectedly, Forrester is accused of being the murderer. He then hires a lawyer, Teddy Barnes (Glenn Close ), to defend him. Feelings arise between them, and the lawyer finds that she is also defending the man she loves. However, things are not as they seem.
