Conopial arch.
Conopial arch in the convent of the Claras, Palencia.

The ogee arch (from the Greek κωνωπεῖον 'mosquito net, bed hanging') is a type of somewhat pointed arch, but it has a notch in the keystone, so that it has a vertex facing above. It is formed by two concave quarter-circumference arches at the beginnings and two convex ones. Its appearance is similar to the typographical key ({) with the notch facing up. It has four centers, two on the inner side and two on the outer side.

Features

Although it has a Muslim appearance, it is nevertheless an arch widely used in the architecture of the 14th and 15th centuries, in late Gothic architecture, also called flamboyant Gothic, where it is usually found with decoration in its highest part.
