Octuptarra

The octuptarra are droids from the Star Wars movies.

The Octuptarras are huge machines that have their origins in the middle of the Clone Wars. The Techno Union, once associated with the Separatist Confederacy, contributed Crab Droids, Tri-Droids, and Octuptarras to its army to join the enemy ranks of the Galactic Republic.

The octuptarra had a spherical head supported on a pole that ended at the bottom in three long legs. In the middle of its mast it had several cannons, and the fact of having several photoreceptors made it a perfect weapon.

These twelve-foot-tall androids had "cousins" of greater height also conceived by the Techno Union (the Tri-Droid).

These droids served on numerous battlefields, including Utapau, Mygeeto, and Christphosis.
