Norma Duval
Purificación Martín Aguilera (Barcelona, April 4, 1956), artistically known as Norma Duval, is a Spanish star, presenter and actress.
Artistic career
Beginnings
Born in Barcelona, she moved to Madrid, where she lived her childhood in a chalet in the Cuatro Vientos Military Colony due to her father's profession. She was elected Miss Madrid in 1973 and that title helped Valerio Lazarov, a member of the jury in the Miss Spain pageant, notice her and propose that she be part of his company of actors to represent different plays. That year she won the Amparo Muñoz contest.
Later, she made her television debut in the program Ladies and gentlemen! (1974), along with other well-known artists in the field such as Ángela Carrasco and Victoria Vera.
Magazine
Her desire to set up her own company led her to present the show Norma y su ballet, as well as accompanying Fernando Esteso as a dancer in the theatrical parodies Ay Bellotero (1975), Ramona, I love you (1977) and We already have risocracy (1978). At the end of 1979, she replaced Bárbara Rey as main vedette of the Lido Theater in the show A Barbarian Night, together with Quique Camoiras.
She finally established herself as a magazine actress. In 1980 she was the first vedette of the centenary Parisian theater Folies Bergère , once frequented by Toulouse-Lautrec and where stars such as Mata Hari, Joséphine Baker and Frank Sinatra have passed. She was the second Spaniard who managed to be the headliner of said venue, after Bella Otero. Norma was one of the last stars of the traditional magazine, a type of show that was in decline during those years and was maintained mainly thanks to tourists visiting Paris.
Already in Spain and as a businesswoman, Norma Duval put on different shows with which she toured the country and abroad. In Mexico and Italy she achieved great success. Late in the 80s, and coinciding with the decline of the recovery , she left the world of cinema to dedicate herself exclusively to the theater and her appearances on television. She achieved important successes such as the zarzuela La corte de Faraón , which she performed in Valencia in 1993.
After a few years away from the stage, in October 2000 she premiered the musical La mujer del año; however, later, she decided to leave the musical to dedicate herself to acting and advertising.
Cinema
At the beginning of the 80s, she took part in several films, mostly breakout films, that exploited her spectacular beauty. Jesús Yagüe directs it in Lend me your woman along with Alfredo Landa and Juan Luis Galiardo. Directed by Germán Lorente, she stars in Three Women of Today alongside Robin Ellis ( Poldark ) and Ana García Obregón. Other titles were the trilogy Victoria by Antoni Ribas, together with Helmut Berger and Xabier Elorriaga and The Judge's Woman , a highly commercially successful film in which she worked together with Héctor alter.
Television
He has presented various television programs, almost all of them musicals and entertainment and varieties: Superstar (1984) by Fernando Navarrete, Contigo (1988) with Pedro Rollán and José Manuel Parada, Bellezas al agua (1990) with Paco Cecilio, From Palma with love (1991) with Andoni Ferreño, Los domingos por Norma (1992-1993) on Antena 3 and solo, Espejo secreto (1997) again with Andoni Ferreño, a program on Noche de Fiesta in January 2000 and different year-end specials.
As an actress, she starred in an adaptation of the erotic story La Lozana andaluza within the series Las pícaras (1983) and also appeared in an episode of the television series London Street and has starred in various advertising campaigns.
In 2014 he was a jury member of ¡Mira quien baila! in La 1, together with Noemí Galera, Ángel Corella and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez "El Sevilla".
In 2020, she participated in Mask Singer, under the Unicorn mask, being the third eliminated. In the same edition, celebrities such as Paz Vega, Terelu Campos or Pepe Navarro participated.
In 2022, he participated in the second edition of El Desafío alongside contestants such as Raquel Sánchez Silva or Juan Betancourt.

Private life
In 1981 she had an affair with Jorge García Lago, to whom she was engaged. However, the young man's family, who was opposed to the wedding, denounced Norma Duval for trespassing when she moved into her boyfriend's apartment. The case, however, was dismissed and the courtship was broken.The young man died a few months later, on January 11, 1982 at the age of 32 as a result of myasthenia gravis that he had suffered for some time.
In 1983, she began a sentimental relationship with former basketball player Marc Ostarcevic (Croatia, 1941), with whom she has three children: Marc Iván (1984), Yelko (1986) and Christian (1994). Both married on February 10, 1992 and separated in October 2001, divorcing on February 25, 2003.
On October 20, 1993, in the radio program of Luis del Olmo, Protagonistas, of the Onda Cero Radio Network, during the Debate of the State of the Spanish Nation, the vedette came to harshly attack the gossip journalist Jimmy Giménez-Arnau and counteract the acid criticism that the aforementioned journalist had uttered against her. On September 29, 2004, she married the Spanish businessman, film producer and distributor, José Frade, from whom she divorced on October 1, 2009. During that marriage, Norma Duval, contrary to what we were used to, completely disappeared from the media, and hardly anything made it to the press. Since 2010, Norma Duval has had an affair with the German real estate agent Matthias Kühn, who is exclusively dedicated to promoting luxury mansions in the Balearic Islands. A close friend of the German tennis player Boris Becker, Kühn has become in recent years The king of large-scale estates in Mallorca, he has his residence on Tagomago Island, which he does not own, but of which he is the sole tenant and exploiter of the island's resources. Matthias Kühn was sentenced by the Mallorcan courts for tax evasion in 1996. All his credits and accounts were seized, but he did not go to prison.
Her sister Carla, an actress, died on October 31, 2010, a victim of cervical cancer at the age of 46.
In various electoral campaigns, he has publicly expressed his support for the Popular Party.
In June 2015, she would marry Matthias Kühn on Tagomago Island. On November 25, Norma announced to the magazine ¡Hola! her breakup with Matthias Kühn. In February 2016, the actress announces that she is back with her ex, Matthias Kühn. On March 16, 2022, she announces her breakup with German businessman Matthias Khün. On July 6, 2022, Norma Duval and Matthias Kühn announce that they reconcile again five months after their breakup. They contracted a civil marriage in Gstaad in November 2022, with the mere presence of their two witnesses.
His mother, Purificación Aguilera, who suffered from Alzheimer's disease for more than ten years, died in Madrid on May 24, 2021, at the age of 89.
