Netherlands Antilles at the Olympics
The Netherlands Antilles at the Olympic Games were represented by the Netherlands Antilles Olympic Committee, a member of the International Olympic Committee between 1950 and 2011. After Following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010, the athletes competed as part of the Independent Olympians in 2012.
He participated in thirteen editions of the Summer Olympic Games, his first presence in these Games took place in Helsinki 1952. The athlete Jan Boersma achieved the only Olympic medal for the Netherlands Antilles in the summer editions, obtaining in Seoul 1988 the silver medal in sailing in the Windsurfing class.
In the Winter Olympic Games he participated in 2 editions, being Calgary 1988 his first appearance in these Games. The Netherlands Antilles did not get any medals in the winter editions.
