Net Present Value of Debt

ImprimirCitar

The net present value (NPV) of the debt is the sum of all future obligations for current debt service (interest and principal) discounted at the market interest rate. When the interest rate of a loan is lower than the market rate, the net present value will be less than the face value, and this difference corresponds to the grant component.
