Natalia Oreiro

Natalia Marisa Oreiro Iglesias (Montevideo, May 19, 1977) is a Uruguayan actress, dancer, singer, presenter, fashion designer, model and businesswoman. She is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the Río de la Plata.

After making appearances in commercials during her pre-teens, she moved to Argentina in 1994 to continue her career. At the age of 15, she decided to enter a contest to be a Xuxa paquita and managed to win first in Uruguay as Paquita and then in Argentina as Super Paquita to represent Xuxa in several countries. Biography

He was born on May 19, 1977 in the neighborhood of Villa del Cerro, Montevideo, Uruguay. She is the daughter of Carlos Oreiro Poggio and Mabel Iglesias Bourie. She has an older sister named Adriana. When she was little, she moved to Madrid, Spain, with her family where she lived for two years before returning to her country. She has, like many Uruguayans, Spanish ancestry, specifically Galician; thus, Natalia herself would have stated that:
