The nanogram is a mass measurement unit of the SIU, with the symbol ng, equivalent to one billionth of a gram, that is, one nanogram corresponds to 1 /1,000,000,000 gram, in scientific notation 10^(-9) grams equals 1 nanogram. It would also correspond to one billionth of a kilogram, that is, 1 nanogram is 1/1,000,000,000,000 kilogram.
