Naga Sadow
In the fictional Star Wars universe, Naga Sadow was a Dark Lord of the Sith, five thousand years before the battle of Yavin IV. Naga Sadow was the successor to the throne of Marka Ragnos (the greatest sith of all time). To access the position, after the funeral of his successor, Naga Sadow fought with Ludo Kresh (true successor) to stay with the empire, defeating him. Naga Sadow was the cause of the Great Hyperspace War, in an attempt to expand the borders of the Sith Empire at the expense of the Old Republic. The war ended with the collapse of the Sith Empire at the hands of the Republic and the Jedi Order. Naga was known for possessing great wisdom about the magic of the Siths, and for being an accomplished alchemist.
Naga Sadow was a full-blooded Sith, a member of the Order of the same name, who draws his power from the Dark Side of the Force. Deemed a war criminal for his actions in the Great Hyperspace War, he fled to Yavin IV, the moon of a gas giant. There he began a series of experiments on his Massassi slaves to turn them into savage and ruthless predators. Despite this, the Massassi treated him like a god, and built huge temples in his honor.
Naga Sadow survived in suspended animation for six centuries, until she was found by the fallen Jedi Freedon Nadd. Naga trained him in the art of the Sith, and was later killed by his ward. This reached to become the next Dark Lord of the Siths.
The tomb of Naga Shadow (on Korriban) can be seen in the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Apparently, he was buried there by his own killer, Freedon Nadd.
Curiously, the moon where Naga Shadow took refuge is the same one where centuries later Exar Kun, a disciple of Freedon Nadd, would take refuge in the Sith War, and where millennia later Assaj Ventress and Anakin Skywalker would fight. The initial battle of the Civil War that ended the Empire broke out in space on Yavin IV, where the first Death Star was destroyed. Eventually, the New Jedi Academy, founded by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, was built on Yavin IV.
