Municipality of Balzers
Balzers is a municipality in the principality of Liechtenstein. It is bordered to the north by the municipality of Wartau (CH-SG), to the east by Triesen, to the south by Maienfeld (CH-GR) and Fläsch (CH-GR), and to the southwest by Sargans (CH-SG). Furthermore, thanks to its two exclaves it also borders the municipalities of Triesenberg, Planken, Schaan and Vaduz in Liechtenstein, and Frastanz (AT-8) and Nenzing (AT-8) in Austria.

Communications
To get to Balzers you can take the bus or a car. It can also be reached by train, although the closest station (Forst Hilti) is to the southeast. There are numerous bike paths in the city and you can rent a motorcycle or a car in the city.
Sports
Balzers has one of the few heated swimming pools in the country. It is an Olympic-sized swimming pool and is located in the sports pavilion, where there are also soccer fields, basketball fields, handball fields (although they use it to play hockey) and a multipurpose room.
