Multi-Troop Transport

In the Star Wars movies, the Multi-Troop Transport (MTT) were huge vehicles that worked with repulsors, and in this way they floated over the battlefields. They were designed and mass-produced by the Baktoid Armor Workshop company, which belonged to the Techno Union.

This armored vehicle used by the Trade Federation has the role of heavy troopcarrier (troopcarrier) on the battlefield. It was used before and during the Clone Wars. Several MTTs can be seen in Episode I, during the war against the Gungans, in the battle of Naboo, where legions of MTTs deposited thousands of droids for battle.

The MTT is designed to penetrate enemy defenses thanks to its powerful armor, even going through and breaking through walls, to then deploy battle droids against the enemy. Its reactor and main engine are at the rear. In its standard configuration could carry 112 Battle Droids with their standard rifles packed into a hydraulically powered rack which he then deployed on the battlefield. The rack itself could also be undocked.

The MTT also had a pilot droid and an engineer droid. Its only weapons were a powerful pair of twin ball-type turrets armed with with two anti-infantry blasters each.
