“Moment” (or “moments”) may refer to:

Time

• In the field of orality, moment is an instant or event (time).
• The word moment comes from the Latin "Momentum". For the Romans, one hour was divided into 40 of them. Considering that they divided the day in twelve hours and the night also and therefore their measure of time was imprecise because of the changes in the duration of both seasons, a "Momentum" could last between 1 minute and 7 seconds and 1 min 52. (In winter an hour of the day could last 45 min and night 75 min)

In England in the 18th century they called the moment 90 seconds although it is also believed that it was established by the Romans and ended out of use until the 18th century
