Mogica Arabayona
Arabayona de Mógica is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Salamanca, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. It is integrated within the region of Las Villas. It belongs to the Peñaranda judicial district and the Cantalapiedra and Las Villas Zone Commonwealth.
Its municipal area is made up of a single population center, it occupies a total area of 23.26 km² and according to the demographic data collected in the municipal register prepared by the INE in 2017, it has a population of 380 inhabitants.

History
The origin of the town dates back to the Early Middle Ages, being repopulated by the kings of Leon who gave it the name Forniellos, with which it was listed in the XIII, from which it derived "Hornillos", a name it had before becoming Arabayona de Mójica. Later it was simply called Arabayona and in the 1990s it adopted its current name.
During the Middle Ages, Forniellos belonged to the quarter of Villoria, within the archdeacon of Salamanca, forming part of the Kingdom of León, in which it continued to belong when it became part of the province of Salamanca, forming part of the bishopric of Salamanca.
Economy
Considered one of the most important places for the production of potatoes, both for home consumption and for national and international sale. Existence of markets dedicated to it in the locality

- Next Weekend to Our Lady’s Day (it is the penultimate weekend of August)
- Romería del Santísimo Cristo de Hornillos, the last weekend of October and the next Monday and Tuesday. There are five days of parties with different activities, for both young and old: verbs, games, attractions and, how not, activities around the Christ of Hornillos.
Sports
The illustrious team from Arabayona is Hornillos F.C. To this day, he actively participates in the provincial trophies of the Diputación de Salamanca. The municipal record is the 2006 Villas Commonwealth championship in 7-a-side football against Cantalapiedra CF and the runner-up in the 7-a-side football trophy in 2008, losing in the final against Real Castillejo de Martín Viejo.[citation required]
