Mirabilis

Mirabilis is the Israeli software company responsible for the creation of the ICQ instant messaging service, which was immensely popular in the 1990s. Mirabilis was created in 1996 by Arik Vardi, Yair Goldfinger, Sefi Vigiser and Amnon Amir and was bought two years later by the US firm AOL. The current owner of Mirabilis is Time Warner.
