The McKusick Catalog is a database of human genes and various genetic disorders, edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and colleagues at Johns Hopkins. The development on the World Wide Web for on-line consultation is the source of the OMIM (database on genetic disorders of the >National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)). The database contains textual information, references and numerous links to MEDLINE

It has cataloged a large number of rare diseases. It is accessible through the information system on rare diseases in Spanish of the Carlos III Institute.
