Mayalde is a traditional music group from the province of Salamanca (Spain) dedicated to the rescue, dissemination and popularization of musical rhythms that are transmitted from generation to generation orally.

It is made up of Eusebio and Pilar, originally from La Maya and Aldeatejada (Salamanca) and from whose names they have formed the name of the group, together with their children Laura and Arturo. They have published several albums, have performed in different countries and are dance and dance teachers.

To make music and rhythms, they use everyday objects, from spoons to urinals to the tools of the countryside. Proof of this is that they participate in the documentary ¡FOLK! A look at traditional music, where they explain together with other artists the roots and evolution of their music as a group and as a Castilian genre. They have also participated in the documentary film Zaniki (2018), by Gabriel Velázquez.
