Mathilda May

Mathilda May was born on February 8, 1965 (age 57) in Saint-Ouen, Seine-Saint-Denis, France.

Her father is the playwright Víctor Haïm, who is from a Greek-Turkish-Jewish family. His mother is ballet teacher and choreographer Margareta Hanson. At the age of 16, she won the First Prize of the Paris Dance Conservatory. May's film work has been primarily in French and aimed at the European market, having won the Romy Schneider Award in 1989. The main non-French films in which he has appeared are Lifeforce, Naked Tango (1991), Becoming Colette (1991) and La teta and the Moon (1994). In the United States, she is known mainly for her role as one of the "vampires"; from the horror film Lifeforce, directed by Tobe Hooper, in which she remains nude for most of her performance. She also appeared in the 1996 adventure game Privateer Surface 2: The Darkening. She acted in The Jackal, a 1997 action film.

Personal life

Married to Gérard Darmon from 1994 to 1999, she is currently in a relationship with 47-year-old rapper-singer Sly Johnson.

In 1992 he recorded the album Alegría del amor.
