Massiff

A massiff is a fictional animal from the fictional universe of Star Wars that appears in Episode II of the saga: Attack of the Clones.

The massif is a quadrupedal, dog-sized creature with grey-green fur and a pair of rows of spines on its back. They are carnivorous, they have a very strong jaw that helps them hunt their prey on their home planet, Tatooine, and on Geonosis, where it was imported in recent years.

On Tatooine they are trained by the Sand People as Camp Guardians and on Geonosis they are highly sought after; they are worn only by the royalty of the Geonosians.
