Marie-Christine Barrault (Paris, March 21, 1944) is a French actress, niece of the actor Jean-Louis Barrault and the actress Madeleine Renaud.

Artistic life

He made his debut on French television in 1967 with L'Oeuvre and in the series Que ferait donc Faber?. His first appearance on the big screen was in 1969 in the film Ma nuit chez Maud.

In 1975 she starred in the film Cousin, cousin which earned her an Oscar nomination for best actress. She has also appeared in the Woody Allen film Memories ( Stardust memories ) (1980) and in Bonsoir (1994). In 1988 she appeared in the Catalan production Daniya, Jardín del Haren , and in 1991 in the Franco-Spanish miniseries La hija de los lobos .

She was married to director Roger Vadim from 1990 until Vadim's death in 2000. The marriage had no children.
