Quotes
- "We want to take into account the latest debates on the so-called 'state of social well-being', contained in the documents of the United Nations and the European Union, and thus avoid both sterile mimeticisms and the most common dysfunctions of that model: very high social spending, state leadership and excessive administrative bureaucratization, lack of efficiency in the distribution of resources, excessive protectionism, which creates civic dependency and demobilization of social initiatives."Summit for Social Development, Copenhagen 1995)
- "A country's strategy is always based on a fundamental philosophical perspective. The discoveries made over the last one hundred years have shown that liberalism is the best system to improve the well-being of a country - this is why Andorra's strategy is based on a liberal way of thinking." (International Liberal Congress, Oxford, United Kingdom, 27-30 November 1997)
