Malparted
Malpartida is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Salamanca, in the autonomous community of Castilla y León. It is integrated within the region of Tierra de Peñaranda. It belongs to the judicial district of Peñaranda and the Mancomunidad Margañán.
Its municipal area is made up of a single population center, it occupies a total area of 10.30 km² and according to the demographic data collected in the municipal register prepared by the INE in 2017, it has a population of 101 inhabitants.
History
Its foundation dates back to the 15th century, being integrated in the Rialmar quarter of the jurisdiction of Alba de Tormes, within the Kingdom of León. With the creation of the current provinces in 1833, Malpartida was included in the province of Salamanca, within the Leonese Region, forming part of the Peñaranda de Bracamonte party.
