Luminița Anghel
Luminița Anghel (Bucharest, October 7, 1968) is a Romanian singer and celebrity.
At the age of eight he began his interest in music, later graduating from the School of Popular Art, where he took lessons specializing in light music. She is a very famous artist in her country who, throughout her career, has obtained numerous awards both nationally and internationally.
- In 1993 he got the first place at the festival Mamaia of Romania. In the 1995 and 1996 editions of the same event, the third position would be achieved.
- Under the orders of Bernard Tavernier to participate in 1995 in the film Captain Conan.
- Already in 2001 he won the award for the best interpretation at the international festival The Golden Stag., also doing with the award given by the public.
- A year later, he gets the awards to the best international voice and the best theme in the "Song for Europe International Festival" Malta; the best voice award at the festival "Discovery" Bulgaria and the press prize at the festival "Universatalent" from Prague.
- The festival "Voice For Asia" held in Kazakhstan in 2003 he would be awarded the award for the best international interpreter.
In addition to all these awards, he has presented various television programs in his country and has participated in numerous preselections to represent Romania in Eurovision. She would obtain this privilege in 2005 by attending the 2005 edition with the Sistem group.
His song "Let Me Try" would win the previous semi-final, and would get third place in the grand final (obtaining Romania's best position so far, along with 2010).
Political career
In the 2008 legislative elections, she was a candidate for the Social Democratic Party for a seat, representing Bucharest, in the Chamber of Deputies; losing to Elena Udrea.
