Lady Luisa Mountbatten-Windsor (Surrey, November 8, 2003) is the first daughter of the Dukes of Edinburgh, Eduardo and Sofía. On the paternal line, she is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and her husband, Prince Philip of Edinburgh, niece of the current King, Charles III, and occupies the fifteenth position in the line of succession to the British throne and of the kingdoms of the Commonwealth of Nations.

Lady Luisa was born prematurely on 8 November 2003 at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, after her mother arrived at the hospital by ambulance from the couple's home in Bagshot Park, Surrey. She was taken to the emergency room for a cesarean section. Prince Edward could not be present at her birth because it was so sudden. Lady Luisa was transferred to St. George's Hospital, Tooting, London as a precaution. Meanwhile, the Countess herself remained at Frimley Park Hospital until she recovered.

Lady Luisa was discharged on November 23 and her name was announced on November 27.

Lady Luisa was born with an eye disorder called exotropia. In January 2006 it was reported that she had undergone a 30-minute operation under general anesthesia to correct the problem, but in 2009 she regenerated the eye disorder. For this reason, her parents decided not to use this treatment again. In 2014 she underwent another intervention and it was successful, having corrected the exotropia.
