Lookgood
Mirabueno is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Guadalajara, in the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. The municipal area has a population of 83 inhabitants (INE 2022). The town is located about 1067 m above sea level.
Geography
The municipality of Mirabueno occupies an area of 19.46 km² north of the natural region of La Alcarria. It belongs to the judicial district of Guadalajara and the Catholic diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara. The town is located at 1067 m above sea level, and at the coordinates latitude 40.56 north and longitude 2.43 west. Its distance by road from the provincial capital is 54 km.
Like most of the towns in Alcarria, Mirabueno continues to lose population. According to the continuous census published in 2015, it has a population of 93 residents, 27 less than in 2000. The Lana route passes through the municipality, between Las Inviernas and Mandayona.
History
In the middle of the 19th century, the place had a census population of 328 inhabitants. The town is described in the eleventh volume of the Geographical-statistical-historical dictionary of Spain and its overseas possessions by Pascual Madoz as follows:
MIRABUENO: l. con ayunt. en la prov. de Guadalajara (9 leg.), part. jud. y dióc. de Sigüenza (3), aud. terr. de Madrid (19), c. g. de Castilla la Nueva: sit. in plain near a large slope of vineyards, they mainly fight the winds of the N. climate cold and prone to pneumonia and paralysis: 78 houses; the consistorial, with prison room; primary school of instruction frequented by 45 students of both sexes, by a teacher endowed with 15 fan. wheat, a igl. Stop. (Ntra. Sra. de Mirabueno), served by a priest and a sacristan. term. Confine N. Aragosa and Mandayona; E. Castejon; S. The Ibiernas, and O. Demography
According to the official population figures resulting from the review of the municipal register as of January 1, 2021, Mirabueno has 78 inhabitants, of which 47 were men and 31 were women.

Traditions
Every month of May it hosts the pilgrimage of the surrounding towns (organized into three paths) who come to pay their respects to the Virgin. Path 1 is made up of the towns of the Tajuña valley, number 2 is made up of the towns of the Badiel valley and number 3 is made up of the towns of the Henares valley, Dulce and Salado rivers. In total it is made up of 42 towns.
