The London Business School (London Business School or LBS), in London, United Kingdom is an international business school and a constituent university of the university of London. It offers postgraduate courses in finance and business management, including both the MBA (Master in Business Administration) and other courses aimed at executives: Executive MBA, Master in Finance (MiF) or its Global MBA in collaboration with the Columbia Business School. It is located in London, next to Regent's Park and was established in 1965 as part of the University of London.

About 800 students, from 70 countries, graduate from the school each year from its different programs. More than 80% of the students and 70% of the faculty come from outside the United Kingdom. With more than 5,000 executives attending the school's executive programs each year. The school has more than 27,000 alumni in more than 120 countries, organized through 60 alumni clubs.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for entry to the school's degree programs; The average of applicants accepted for the MBA (Full-Time) is in the range of 700 points, the highest among programs outside the United States.

  • The Full-Time MBA program is typically among the top 5 business schools outside the United States: Third place in the Wall Street Journal ranking (2007), fifth by BusinessWeek (2006) and second by Forbes (in 2007).
  • The Full-Time MBA program got place 15 in the most recent ranking (2007) Economist Intelligence Unit rankings.
