Les Planes (Hospitalet de Llobregat)

Les Planes is a neighborhood of Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the metropolitan area of Barcelona (Spain). It is territorially classified within District IV, along with La Florida. It borders the neighborhoods of La Florida, La Torrassa, Pubilla Casas, Can Serra and Sant Josep.

The neighborhood, which was created from the migrations of the 1960s. Les Planes park is the largest in the city. Precisely around this green area extends the urban center of Les Planes, integrated within the same neighborhood, but with some administrative differences. The main road axes are Masnou, Ponent and Cataluña avenues, which are important commercial and residential areas.

In this neighborhood is the Mozos de Escuadra Police Station, the Fire Station and the municipal cemetery.

Public transportation

It is connected to the rest of the city thanks to buses and the Florida metro station on line 1.
