Leopold figl

Leopold Figl (October 2, 1902 - May 9, 1965), was an Austrian politician.

Chancellor of Austria (Bundeskanzler) from 1945 to 1953, then foreign minister (Außenminister). He negotiated, along with Bundeskanzler Julius Raab, for Austrian independence from the four occupying powers (the Soviet Union, the US, Great Britain, and France).
