Lambayeque Judicial District

The Judicial District of Lambayeque is one of the judicial administrative divisions into which the Peruvian territory is divided.

Its headquarters are in the city of Chiclayo and its jurisdiction extends to the three provinces that make up the department of Lambayeque and the provinces of Jaén, Cutervo and San Ignacio in the department of Cajamarca.

It was created by Law No. 4049 and was installed on May 4, 1920 under the presidency of Augusto B. Leguía.

It consists of three Penal Chambers, two Civil Chambers, a Labor Chamber and a Mixed Chamber.
