In the Shingon cult of Japanese Buddhism, the protector god Kongō-Yasha Myō-ō (金剛夜叉明王) has three menacing faces and six arms (or one face and four arms), and represents the force. He is located in the north.

The mantra of Kongō-Yasha Myō-ō is:
