Kenny McCormick
Kenneth, Kenny, McCormick, played by Matt Stone, is a fictional character from the animated series South Park. He is famous for being incomprehensible when he speaks because of the hood on his coat (hence the moment he removes his hood at the end of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut was &# 34;dramatic"), although in very few episodes he is understood, but he speaks very little. He is also known to die in almost every episode (up to the fifth season) which is usually followed by an exclamation of “OMG! They've killed Kenny! You sons of bitches!” by his friends Stan and Kyle.
In episode 13 of the fifth season ("Kenny Dies") he apparently died permanently after a terminal muscular disease, but he reappeared in episode 17 of the sixth ("Red Sleigh Down").
In the thirteenth season it is discovered that Kenny has a double identity and that he works nights as a superhero named Mysterion, Cartman was the first to notice his presence but at first he suspected it was Kyle. Mysterion has appeared in four episodes of The Coon (or "The Raccoon"), a special called The Coon vs Coon and Friends (consisting of 3 South Park episodes), The Poor Boy and The Prequel to the Franchise.
He likes to look at pornographic magazines and is one of the smartest and most audacious of the group. Kenny is one of the less violent characters in the series; He is characterized mainly by being a reserved, calm, funny and eccentric character who loves pornography (he even sacrificed his life for his friends). In one chapter, called 'Invalid Fight', it was suggested that the origin of their repeated deaths was their clothing, but it is also believed that it is because their parents attended a Cthulhu meeting, at first he had a girlfriend named Kelly in season 3, but in season 13 he dated Tammy Warner until she died of syphilis due to Tammy "sucking him off. Currently, he is in a relationship. Kenny is a very private character, but sometimes he gets out of control. Kenny is also the poorest kid in South Park, so he is often teased by Eric Cartman. Especially if it's his younger sister or his girlfriend. Kenny dies in almost every chapter, but always reviving, reappearing in his bed, so in one chapter it is said that he is immortal.
Up until 2001 in season 5, Kenny died in almost every episode. From that year on, his deaths became unusual and the exclamation that his friends made after his death disappeared.
- His father is an alcoholic.
- His mother always wears a t-shirt that says "I'm with stupid" (I'm with a fool) and she tells her husband he's a bum. They constantly fight for absurd reasons, sometimes their older brother Kevin gets into those fights. This affects his younger sister Karen a lot, but Kenny doesn't seem to care.
- He also has two brothers (one male, apparently a year older than him, named Kevin, and a girl between four and six years old, named Karen who protects Mysterion's dress, acting as his guardian angel.) Even so, it is usually shown as a unique child.
In his group he doesn't have a best friend even though he sometimes considers Cartman as such, since he sometimes treats him badly, especially for being poor. His relationship with Stan and Kyle is good, but he has only seen each other in a few episodes. Kenny usually follows his friends and plays with them without much relevance, and only speaks for some special situations. In some episodes he does understand what he says, but he speaks with a very discreet and low intensity voice, except when he is Mysterion, with a deeper voice.

Anecdote
At an Emmy Awards in the late '90s, the four guys from South Park presented an award. After announcing the winner, a giant Emmy statue falls on Kenny, killing him. But at the end of the episode Kenny appears unharmed with Stan, Kyle and Cartman.
Movie
In the movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, Kenny tries to prove to Cartman that farts are combustible (Product of Terrance and Philip's film) with himself, burning himself alive, later a truck accidentally dumps a mountain of salt on him; but what would really cause his death would be when, in the hospital, Dr. Doctor would replace his heart with a microwaved potato that was apparently meant to be for medical use but was used by one of the nurses to heat up his lunch, eventually this brings him back to life for three seconds and then he dies, exploding her body.
During his stay in hell, Kenny would try to convince Satan not to let himself be manipulated by her husband Saddam Hussein, who sooner or later would end up taking the throne from him, but Satan is too weak to face him; so Kenny would appear as a ghost in Cartman's room, although he would run away.
In the end, when Saddam Hussein and Satan invade earth, Kenny somehow manages to slip through and get out to earth; where he finally convinces Satan to leave Saddam, who is thrown into the rocks of hell where he is pierced by a stalagmite. For having shown him that he was being manipulated and in gratitude Satan is willing to grant Kenny a wish, he wishes that everything would return back to the way it was before, even though that meant Kenny would die again and go back to hell; however, Kenny wouldn't care anymore as he was doing the right thing not only for his friends but for the earth in general, he eventually removes his hood, revealing his face and hair before saying goodbye to his friends, slowly disappearing, just like that. starting only that this time, Kenny would enter heaven permanently for which he would earn his Wings and Halo (Which are granted by naked female angels) confirming that his wish practically cleansed the rest of his sins successfully.
Kenny's immortality
In episode 4x05 Cartman joins Nambla it is seen when Kenny dies, Kenny's mother has another son later (if Kenny didn't die he would have a total of 53 siblings until that episode), this one event is repeated again in the three part episode in season 14 "The Coon vs Coon and Friends", when Kenny admits to being immortal in the finale of that episode it is seen how his mother gives birth to him again and leaves it on the bed, it is inferred that it grows rapidly and recovers its memory (or never loses it). He has this power because his parents attend a meeting of the cult of Cthulhu, most likely and by coincidence of dates, when Kenny's mother is pregnant with him.
Kenny's cause of death
In the episode Fight of the Invalids, it is hinted that the cause of Kenny's deaths is his clothing. Timmy gave Jimmy an orange hood similar to Kenny's; Jimmy narrowly died 7 times:
- ♪ Squashed by a safe.
- ♪ In a traffic accident.
- * Caught by an eagle.
- * Jimbo and Ned shoot him while they want to hunt him down.
- * Burned.
- ♪ Squashed in a cattle stamp.
- ♪ Squashed by a shuttle.
But there's the theory that Timmy stole Kenny's hood (or maybe one of them) to give to Jimmy and then Jimmy almost died because the hood is impregnated with Kenny's cursed essence.
Additionally in Fat Camp a boy dressed in Kenny's hood dies inside the womb of Miss Veronica Crabtree. However, it is questioned whether the cause of death was the hood, but rather the narrowness of Mrs. Crabtree's uterus and the lack of oxygen there, as another child had died there before without wearing such a hood..
But interestingly in the episode of The Jeffersons and Pee, Kenny dies, but without his outfit, he was only wearing a mask in The Jeffersons and he only goes with a suit bathroom in Pee, but in the end he rarely appears in his bathing suit and with a towel on his head. That disproves that Kenny's deaths were due to the hood.
Series co-creator Trey Parker explained that Kenny's repeated deaths (and resurrections) and his friends' lack of interest in them are based on a childhood friend: Parker's friend was the poorest kid in the neighborhood and his name was also Kenny; Because he was very poor, he constantly couldn't go to school, so when Parker and his other friends waited for the bus and noticed his absence, they jokingly said that he had died and went on with the day. of the; after a few days Kenny reappeared without anything having happened.
Kenny without hood
Kenny is also famous for almost never appearing without his orange hood, although he does remove it in the film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (showing that he is blonde) and in the second, in which he is seen for the longest time.
- In an episode of the eighth season called "The Jeffersons", Kenny pretends to be Michael Jackson's son, "Blanket", wearing a multi-coloured mask, just for not leaving his face uncovered. In this episode, Kenny also talks.
- When in the first episode of the 4th season "The Tooth Fairy Tats", Cartman convinces him to take his teeth out to buy a new video game, Kenny is tied to the top of the school flag, Timmy with his wheelchair pulls him out of his hood completely, although he only sees his scalp and his ass stands in front. It is appreciated that his hair is blond
- He also appeared out of hood in the episode "The Losing Edge", to Kenny is seen without hood the majority of the episode, but appears unnoticed, since he has no greater involvement. In that chapter, very few characters speak.
- In the fourth episode of the fifth season "Super Best Friends" appears twice without hood but with shaved head, it doesn't say a word and one of the times it looks is dead; of course they all look the same with shaved head except Eric Cartman (that's why it's funny that Stan recognizes his body).
- In the episode "Margaritaville" appears throughout the time dressed in Greek and only his mouth and neck is covered, so his blonde hair is shown.
- In the "W.T.F." episode, he appears with a mask that covers his face, but he looks a bit like his face.
- Also in the episode "Pee" you see the neck and hair all over the episode, although for a moment you saw it from profile, covering your eyes with glasses.
- In the episode "Lice Capades", Kenny is stripped by his companions to remove the lice he allegedly has, but his face is not shown except the hair and part of the eye.
- In the "Sexual Healing" episode, Kenny appears dead by a sex game and disguised as Batman and is seen the bottom of the face.
- Every time he disguises himself as Mysterion he does not use his orange hood but if a kind of gray hood always speaking clearly with an forced voice that sounds serious and gutural, At the end of the episode "Mysterion Rises" when the Gothics kill him, and in "Coon vs. Coon & friends" when he commits suicide, revives and brings back his classic hood.
- In addition, in the episode "Lil Detectives" you see how the hood is removed, seeing the neck and the blonde hair.
- In the chapter "You're Getting Old" you can see at Stan's birthday party wearing his hood without covering his whole head, but with a birthday gorrito, he appears next to Clyde.
- It looks in swimsuits in the pool behind Stan's sister and an 8th grade looking kid without any involvement. That chapter is "Brodway Bro Down"
- In the "Sarcastaball" chapter, Kenny is seen in the dressing room with his sports uniform and with his face uncovered, but with an aluminum foil covering him most of his head, he can only see his hair a bit.
- He is seen with an Iron Man costume in the "A Nightmare on Face Time" episode, but the face covered with the character's mask and his hair is completely uncovered. He also speaks, but the voice is heard by robotics.
- In the episode "Turd Burglars" appears to be sick with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform to visit Tom Brady.
