Kenneth "Kenny" Davis Anthony is a politician and Prime Minister of Saint Lucia from 2011 to 2016. He was the fifth Saint Lucian to reach the country's first magistracy since its independence from the United Kingdom. He was born on January 8, 1951 and studied at the Santa Lucía Teachers College. He graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Birmingham, England, in 1988.

His professional experience is concentrated in the field of education. He worked as a basic education instructor between 1968 and 1979, as a professor at the University of the West Indies in Barbados between 1981 and 1995. At the beginning of 1981 he assumed the position of Minister of Education for fourteen years and a few months, later he was Appointed counselor in the General Secretariat of the Caribbean Community.

After assuming the presidency of the Saint Lucia Labor Party, he defeated Prime Minister Vaughan Lewis in the elections of May 24, 1997 and endorsed his position in the elections of December 3, 2001, obtaining 14 of the 17 seats in Parliament for your party.

Kenny Anthony is an Honorary Member of the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation.
