The Kame Hame Ha (かめはめ波, Great Wave of the Turtle Current ?) is a fictional combat technique created in the manga and anime Dragon Ball. It is the basic technique of the Turtle School, created by the character Kame Sen'nin. It consists of gathering a large amount of energy in the hands and releasing it suddenly and thanks to this, being able to gather twice the fighting power that the user possesses. According to its fictional creator, a normal person must train 50 years to master this legendary technique, it is a skill that requires a lot of effort. However, the character Son Goku learned it just by watching the teacher use it to extinguish the fire on Mount Frypan and throughout Dragon Ball many characters learn it quickly.

Variants

The Kame Hame Ha is the most used technique in the series, so there are a large number of variants.

  • Ashi Kara Kame Hame Ha (, Kame Hame Ha with feet?): It is a Kame Hame Ha made with your feet. Only once seen, in the fight of Gokū against Piccolo at the end of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budōkai.
  • Big Bang Kame Hame Ha: Mix between the Big Bang Attack and the Kame Hame Ha, only launched by Gogeta on Super Saiyajin 4 in Dragon Ball GT, facing Super Yi Xing Long.[chuckles]required], also this is the most powerful variant of the technique, also seen in some video games of the series.
