Junqali State

Junqali (English: Jonglei, Arabic: جونقلي ‎, Jonglei) is one of the ten states that make up South Sudan. Located in the former Upper Nile region, it occupies an area of 122,479 km² and has an estimated population of 1,230,000 inhabitants (2007). Bor is the capital of the state.

In Junqali, there are two protected natural areas, the Boma National Park and the Zefah Game Reserve.
