Junko Takeuchi (竹内 順子, Takeuchi Junko?</sup , born April 5, 1972) is a Japanese seiyū and occasional singer born in Saitama prefecture. In 2005, she belonged to the entertainment agency called Love Live, currently Ogi Pro THE NEXT, which is not related to the multimedia project Love Live!, which began in 2010.

Some of his well-known roles include the anime Naruto, as its protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, in Yes! Pretty Cure 5 as Rin Natsuki/Cure Rouge, in the anime Digimon Frontier, as Takuya Kanbara, in Medabots as Metabee, in the Digimon franchise as Gomamon, in Hunter x Hunter (1999), as Gon Freecss, in Onegai My Melody as Kuromi, in Inazuma Eleven as Mamoru Endō and in Little Witch Academia as Croix Meridies.

Personal life

She is the youngest of three children. As a child she studied ballet and piano for seven and a half years. She enrolled in Nihon University in 1991, Faculty of Art, but dropped out two years later. For several years she worked as a shoe saleswoman and taught piano lessons at a private school in Tokyo. Originally she wanted to work in a bank office. In 1996 she joined the BQ MAP Theater Company, where she had several appearances on stage. She met voice actor Kenji Hamada in 1999. They married in 2006. Her first child was born in 2012 and the other in 2017.
