José Celestino López (b. Anzoátegui State, Venezuela, November 24, 1983) is a baseball player, who throws and hits right-handed, and who plays in the Major Leagues with the Colorado Rockies.

He began his career with the Cardenales de Lara in Venezuela and his contribution to the team has been fundamental. He also played with the Leones del Caracas as a reinforcement in the semifinal and final of the 2009-2010 season.

In June 2016, he was transferred to the Caribes de Anzoátegui in a trade involving pitchers William Pérez and Kendy Batista.

The solvency with which he plays in the field and his confidence at the plate when hitting have made López one of the best Venezuelan players of his generation.
