Joan Bernet Toledano (Barcelona, July 6, 1924 - Pontons, March 31, 2009) was a Spanish cartoonist. His brother Miguel Bernet Toledano, alias Jorge , is the creator of Doña Urraca in the comic Pulgarcito by Editorial Bruguera.

Biography

He published his works in magazines such as TBO, Trinca, Mortadelo, El DDT, Súper Pulgarcito, etc. The best-known characters he created are Altamiro de la Cueva, set in Prehistory, and those from the series Los guerrillas, set in the Spanish War of Independence. He also worked with characters created by other authors such as Enrique Sánchez Abulí in the series Juanito & # 34; Er Kiko & # 34; from Trinca magazine.
