Jesús Gardea
Jesús Gardea Rocha (Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico; July 2, 1939 - March 12, 2000) was a Mexican writer.
Biography
Jesús Gardea Rocha was born on July 2, 1939, son of Vicente Gardea V. and Francisca Rocha, in Delicias, Chihuahua. There he conducted his primary studies, at Primary School No. 306, while his secondary studies were carried out at Benjamin N. Velasco school in the city of Querétaro, and Baccalaureate in Mexico City. He studied and obtained his degree in Dentistry at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, and exercised this profession in Ciudad Juárez.

In popular culture
The British band Tindersticks recorded in 1995 the song " the devil in the eye ", title taken from Gardea's novel. Dickon Fanchliffe (then a group member) was preparing his thesis for the King ' S College about the work of this Mexican author. He finished his thesis in 1998, with the title Histors of Luminous Motion: The Space, Language and Light of Jesus Gardea ' S ' Placeres ' .
