Jeanne Tripplehorn
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 10, 1963) is an American actress, known for her roles in Basic Instinct, Big Love and Criminal Minds, among others.
Early Years
She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He studied at the prestigious Juilliard School of acting in New York and decided to start her career in his hometown. She worked on local radio and hosted shows on Tulsa television. She is the daughter of Tom Tripplehorn, actor and member of the musical group Playboys along with guitarist Gary Lewis, son of comedian actor Jerry Lewis.
It was in 1991 that he first appeared in a television movie that aired nationwide. The following year she and she made their feature film debut, playing Michael Douglas' partner in the thriller Basic Instinct. Subsequently, she participated in other films that had considerable box office success, such as The Firm , with Tom Cruise, Waterworld , with Kevin Costner, and Blue-eyed Mickey , with Hugh Grant. Without ever becoming a star, Tripplehorn has become a solid and reliable actress who always delivers on the characters she plays. She has also continued to successfully participate in television productions.
Personal life
Jeanne was in a relationship with Ben Stiller from 1990 to 1996. She was also in a long-term relationship with actor Leland Orser. In the year 2000 they got married and had a son. Tripplehorn's grandmother, Jean Neely, appeared in the movie Reality Bites.
