Jean Rochefort (Paris, April 29, 1930-Ibid, October 9, 2017) was a French actor.

In an edition of the Caesar Awards in the 1980s.

Biography

Jean Rochefort Cesar 2011.

Born in Paris to Breton parents, he attended the Institut Pierre Corneille in Rouen. At the age of 19, he entered the Center for Dramatic Art on Rue Blanche and later joined the National Conservatory. He worked with the Grenier Hussenot Company as a stage actor from 1953 for seven years.

After a few supporting roles, he played his first important role in the drama Love in the Wild (1972) with Annie Girardot and Claude Jade. In this film she played a 41-year-old father with a family of grown children (the young Claude Jade was already 23). He had a mustache, his trademark Mustache , which he has only removed once since (1992 in & # 34; Ridicule & # 34;). That same year he also appeared in The Big Blonde with a Black Shoe and its sequel The Return of the Big Blonde (with a Red Shoe) (1974). He notably increased his popularity by starring in the comedy An Elephant Makes a Massive Wrong (1976).

Passed away on October 9, 2017 at the age of 87.
