Childhood and adolescence
He is the youngest of seven children, his father worked for a highway company and his mother was an accountant at a military base. At just 11 years old, young Jay began working on the family farm, where he would learn the ethic of hard work. At the age of 12 he started reading bodybuilding magazines but in his high school days he was more interested in American football. Finishing his teenage stage he attends Quinsigamond University where he studies criminal justice. It would be here where Jay discovered his passion for bodybuilding, when he was 18 years old he joined a gym in his city to start training.
He had a sentimental relationship since he was 16 years old with his high school girlfriend and nurse by profession Kerry, whom he married in July 1998 and from whom he would divorce years later.
Trajectory in bodybuilding
Inspired since his adolescence by the bodybuilder Chris Dickerson and guided from the beginning by the famous nutritionist and bodybuilding guru Chris Aceto, Jay Cutler was definitively crowned champion of the prestigious Mr. Olympia contest in 2006, thus displacing one of the best bodybuilders in history, eight-time champion Ronnie Coleman. After proclaiming himself champion during the years 2006 and 2007, in 2009 Jay Cutler regained the throne, winning the Mr. Olympia contest again, presenting an extraordinary physical condition that amazes critics and fans, thus proclaiming himself Mr. Olympia again, demonstrating more symmetry and muscular definition than his direct rival Branch Warren, it should be noted that Jay Cutler is the only bodybuilder in history to regain the Mr. Olympia title immediately the year after losing it and participating as a finalist in the event, to achieve this victory, Cutler He underwent personal trainer Hany Rambod's intense FST-7 training program.
He was proclaimed champion of the contest again in 2010 against his partner and friend Phil Heath. The most admired thing about Jay Cutler is his legs and his back.
He has therefore won the Mr. Olympia four times, 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010. Cutler also won three consecutive Arnold Classic titles: 2003, 2004, and 2005.
