Japanese strike
The Japanese-style strike or Japanese-style strike is a widespread urban legend both in Spain and in Latin American countries.
According to this urban legend, the employees who go on strike in the Japanese way work more than usual as a measure of pressure. In this way, an increase in production would be caused and prices would fall due to the law of supply and demand, since the owners of the industry would not be able to place their product on the market since they are used to the "fair-to-order method. time" and storage costs are very high. In addition, when going to their post they would continue to receive their salary, something that does not happen in a conventional strike. In many countries there is a belief that Japanese employees are more loyal to their companies, which would have favored the spread of this myth.
However, in Japan this type of strike is not carried out, conventional work stoppages or work stoppages are more frequent there.
