International Telegraph and Telephone Consultative Committee

CCITT stands for Consultative Committee for International Telegraphy and Telephone (in English: Consultative Committee for International Telegraphy and Telephony; in French: Comité Consultatif International Télégraphique et Téléphonique), former name of the telecommunications standardization committee within the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), now known as ITU-T (Sector Telecommunication Standardization Committee of the ITU).
