Intergalactic Banking Clan

In the Star Wars film saga, it is an economic and financial corporation that is associated with the CSI separatists and fights against the Old Galactic Republic and the Jedi.

All the big banks in the Galaxy decided to group themselves into a single organization, which would control and regulate financial matters. The headquarters was established on a distant planet called Muunilinst. Here the muuns were rapidly gaining control of the Banking Clan until they came to dominate that system.

San Hill, the president of this organization, saw his union in the Confederation of Independent Systems profitable and thus decided to take advantage of the Galactic Republic.

During the Clone Wars, thousands of Hailfire tanks were assigned to Separatist battalions and clandestine battle droid factories were set up on Muunilinst. One of the first battles of the Clone Wars took place here, where the forces of the Galactic Republic were led by Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Intergalactic Banking Clan, its associates, and the other breakaway companies were absorbed into the Galactic Empire. The organization disappeared along with other major corporations such as the Trade Federation and the Techno Union when their leaders were assassinated by Darth Vader on the planet Mustafar.
