Infinite screen

Infinite screen is a sound reproduction system, which consists of a placement system for a dynamic speaker, although it is little used.

The main problem with the dynamic speaker is that, due to its omnidirectional polar diagram, the meeting of waves with equal but opposite phases can cancel out the sound. To avoid this, the speaker is integrated into a large flat surface (for example, a wall) with a circular hole in the center (where the speaker cone is housed). Obviously, the flat surface acts as an acoustic box.

In this case, for the waves to cancel it is necessary that the length of the generated wave be comparable to the dimensions of the screen, which, due to the dimensions of the infinite screen (an entire partition), is unlikely.
